Beekeeping experience afternoon 18th June

Step into the fascinating world of the honeybee with our immersive, hands-on beekeeping experience! Whether you are a nature enthusiast, looking for a unique gift, or simply curious about where your honey comes from, this two-hour session offers an unforgettable glimpse inside the hive.

We will start with a brief overview of the honeybee life cycle, the different roles within the hive (worker, drone, and queen!), and essential safety instructions. We provide full, professional-grade beekeeping suits and gloves to ensure you are completely safe and comfortable.

The Hive Inspection, the main event! We will open up a working hive together. You will learn how to use a bee smoker, lift the frames, spot the elusive Queen Bee, and see fresh nectar, pollen, and brood. We will wrap up the experience by answering any lingering questions, followed by a tasting session of our delicious, raw, hyper-local honey.
